The gold had a great day with a 1.26% gain . I think that we should see some pullback in the gold after that nice rally . I purchased again the QQQQ44 put options at 2.30 and SRS at 9.79.
I sold the SMH 26 put option with a loss. at 1.71 . UNG didn't break the resistance at 12.2 , i also update the stop to 11.9 .

The Gold had a great day yesterday and now in the premarket is almost 1% up. The put option and the SRS was down , i will wach the market very closely today and probably if the market show too much strength i will sell the options and the SRS. I was too early with this trade, and it is a losing position ,so it will be better to sell it and wait for a better opportunity.
BAC and XLF were very strong , no sign for short .

Gold - i updated my stop to 96.5 , this is the last lower high . If i am wrong with my analysis, then my down side will be much lower.

I am going to watch the market for a better short opportunity. I think that from now every rally will be a good short place . In case the market break the QQQQ 43.2 and SPY 108.2 , the analysis is cancel.

I sold yesterday the SRS at 10.50 with a 0.64 gain, i still belive we should see much lower prices in the IYR , but it was a nice gain, so i took it before the weekend.
The QQQQ was down again i think that from this level ,or maybe from 40.25-40.75 we should see a small rally until the last lower high 42.5. If we get the rally it will be a great opportunity to sell short.
The Gold was up 0.49% i still belive we should see much higher levels. I have a very big position in gold with a stop at 91. Only a real break of the 100 level will determinate the 130 as our target.

The options are already 40% up , yesterday i miss the opportunity to buy more at the opening .

I still think we should get a serios pullback but after so strog rally the market won't give it back so easily. i still belive thet we should get a pullback to at least 41.5 and then 41 . In all of the indexs there is a negative divergence that can indicate that we probebly can get a more serios pullbak. only a break of 41 will leade to a bigger pullback.

if we get a small rally to 42.2-42.4 it will a good level to buy more puts.

In the SPY only a break of 103 can leade to a bigger pullbak.

The gold was down yesterday , it is still in uptrend but i will wacth it very closely my stop is at 91 and my target is at 130. If the GLD is going to consolitade at this level i will consider buying more.

I bought today some options PUT QQQQ 43 . I still think that we are in a very strong uptrend but we should get here a small pullback. Probably if we get tomorow a small rally to 42.7 42.8 it will be a good point to buy more options.

The Nasdaq close at new year high , we are at very critical level ,at this poit in my opinion we should see a nice pull back but the market is so storg that there is no short sign yet.

With diminishing volume in the last up trend we should stat to see the begonning of this pull back. The most important level for the QQQQ is the 40.8 breaking this level and we can start considering the short side.

The UNG made yesterday a negative behavior open very strog with a gap up and close at the low of the day in the negative territory with a lost of 1.75%.

Couple of words about Gold, everybody talk now about gold ...in a time of uncertainty people like to buy gold. we have a nice head and shouldes in the GLD my first target is 110 and the last target is the 130. there is'nt yet any buy signal , we should wait for a pull back and some momentun then we can considering buying the GLD or other gold stocks.

We will start with yesterday big winner, UNG . After 7.7% rally i am going to wait for a pull back. If we get a higher low and momentum then it will be a good buy signal.
The market is still in an uptrend no change here, but after 50% rally i think the market is starting to show some weaking signs, but there is NO sign yet for short, let see what is going to happen today. When everybody is so bullish that is the place to be very cautios.

The NASDAQ - QQQQ

In the weekly chart there is a resistance at 40- 40.5 level

In the daily chart the last move was from 25.56 to 40.19 . the big question if we saw the high

The last move from 34 to 40 the pull back can be 37.97… 37.27…. and the support level 36.57

We have support at 39.5, breaking this level and we can see a bigger pull back and the next support is 38.75

Every one is so bulish now that make me feel that we are going to turn around. It is only a feeling and feeling doesn't pay the bills. Short are still too early. We still have higher lows and higher high.

There isn't any sign that we are going to turn around in any time frame.

SPY- long can be taken above 98.15 and short under 97.5

QQQQ - long above 39.4 and short under 39.1 . Bearking the 38.75 level and we get a lower low, but it doesn't mean that we are going to turn lower , it is only mean that we turn sideways.

What a rally , more then 50% from the lows. There isn't yet any sign that we are going to turn around. The Short term trend is up But the long term trend is still down , the MA 50 weekly is still declining. The next potential resistance for the QQQQ is 40-40.5 that is the 61.8% correction from the lows, this level will very hard to break.

For the SPY the next potential resistance 98- 101.

A lot of people will say that we are above the 200MA, and that mean that the trend is change, what is more important is the diraction of the 200MA......declining .

Peter Schiff is one of the few that forecast this crisis.

All the currencies are in a down trend against the US Dollar . The 200MA is still declining , no sign yet for a long trade against the US Dollar . The currencies that Peter Schiff talk about , the Australian Dollar the Euro and the Pound , are still in a down trend despite the last rally.
We can see that they start to build a base , but not for a solid long trade for years.
The only one that is in a up trend is the Gold , a long trade will be above GLD 100 and a short trade can be taken under 85-86.

The SPY and the QQQQ checked the 74 and the 28 levels , i have almost 16,000$ unrealize gains so i bought some SDS to protect those gains. The oil made a higher low and that is good, but a real long can be taken above 28.
The QQQQ and the SPY had a nice rally yesterday, but a real long can be taken, at the QQQQ above 28 and at the SPY above 74.
We will look for a pullback and making a higher low in the SPY or maybe a positive divergence in the MACD. We have a lot of stocks that are on our wach list with a tremendous potential .
We will wait for a buy signal from the indexes to start and buy stocks.

If we take a closer look at the VIX , even that the market drop and break the NOV 2002 lows, we didn't see panic and fear comparing to NOV 2008 lows and that is good.
Due to the fact that a lot of the market participants are gone, lost there money or doesn't trade any more, there is less fear in the market, nobady cares any more . It will be easier for a substantial rally to develop.
The VIX is now at 50 comparing to almost 90 in NOV 2008.
Breaking the 40 level, and we get a substantial rally.

Yesterday was probably the beginning of the capitulation stage, the problem is that the volume wasn't so high . A bottom is made with a big selling panic and a high volume.

Testing the NOV 2002 lows at 70 is possible or even lower.
If in some ways, the 74 zone hold , then we can call it a temporary bottom.

I am out from everything, sold the all portfolio with a lost of 1800$ , the market is very weak. The SPY is on the edge, close at 73.93. I won't take any rist and hold a position in the weekend with such a weak market. The market can open on monday with a big gap down. I will wait to see if the NOV 2008 lows hold, but after today it look realy ugly. If we are going to have some serios selling next week , it will be a tremendous buying opportunity . We are so oversold , that the MACD is twice oversold then NOV 2002 lows.

The SPY test the NOV 2008 lows , and the BIG question is if we saw the bottom . lows are tested only one time ..so if the SPY will hold the 74.1 we have the bottom.

The market is still at this critical level QQQQ 28 , and now is traiding under this level . The big quastion is if it's a false breakdown or a real one, we are going to know tomorrow or on monday.
A real breakdown can take us to the capitulation stage.

I am short a very small position in oil due to the fact that after a rally from 23 to almost 28 and
the 28 level is a potential resistance level , our stop is at 27.7 . A puulback can be until 24.

Long in the QQQQ can be considered above 28.7 and a clear long above 29.2 .

The market is in a very fragile stage the 28 level is still holding for the QQQQ . From this place there is two possibilities, the market starting to rally and the 74 level in the SPY will be a double bottom, or the 28 level break and we get the last stage....the capitulation stage. The capitulation stage or the final breakdown can take us to the 600-650 in the SPY, that is 20% drop.

Even if the market will drop 10%-15% and even 20% it will be for a very short period in my opinion, and from there probably will start the real rally.

USO - Had a nice rally today, is at the resistance level 26 . Probebly a pull back to 24.5 will be good for the up side move.

If the market starting to drop i will protect my portfolio with a 2000 QID and some FAZ.

QQQQ - The qqqq is at the low trend line 28-28.5 of the range 31.7-28 . Long position can be taken above 29.2 , and short under 28.

SMH - The semiconductors , as the qqqq is at the low trend line of the range 19.2-16 .

GLD - The gold almost reach the 100 level .

EURO/DOLLAR - Going to test the 1.23 .

DIA - Close at 11 years lows , no sing for a change in the down trend.

USO - What a destruction of wealth , amazing ,where is the analysts that gave a price target of 200$ and even 1000$ for oil. In my opinion oil will be one of the best investment in the futures.

SPY - Down trend no sign for a change.

XLF - Maybe we get here a double bottom , the same as the oil in my opinion the financials will be one of the best investmet when the bear market end.

CAR - This is one example of destruction of wealth , avis and budget is now at 0.59$ have lost 99% from the beginning of the bear market. If this company won't file for bankruptcy it will be a great investment. The market have no hope , this is the time for a change.

The financials are almost 80% down from the beginning of the bear market. Is the end of the word coming ? In my opinion no , we will still need banks and insurance companies. I will look for any change in the down trend as a buy opportunity.

QQQQ - Opened with a gap of almost 3% down . is at the support level 29 , Is it going to hold ? probably not.

GLD - The gold is going probably to 100 and more.

DIA - Is the weakest probably going to test the 74

XLF - Already 36% down this yeart and almost 80% down from the beginning of the bear market .The XLF is at the support level 8 dollar and the big quastion if it's going to hold, probably not , the market is too weak.

SPY - Clearly in a down trend , no sign for a change.

USO - WOW... what a drop 8% , no sign for a change in the oil.

EURO/US DOLLAR - Break the 1.275 a probably going much lower , at least to test the 1.23 .

QQQQ - the most important level is the 30.75 , breaking this level and we can get 31.6 and probably much higher. the support level is at 29.6 .

USO - Still in a down trend no sign for a change.

EURO/USD - Still making a base at 1.275 -1.28

SPY - stll in a range long above 84 and short below 81

GLD - The gold is still at the trend line breaking 93.5 and we will see probably 100, otherwise we can see a beginning of a real drop. The gold is a babble but like any babble can go much more higher, especialy when the dollar/euro drop from 1.6 t0 1.275 and we are in diflation.

XLF - Is more then 29% down this year after a huge drop last year, the 8.8 still holding but probably not for long . Real long above 9.2 - 9.4 .
